What's the event?


We all know that understanding a client's risk profile is key to any recommendations we make - but how do we go about accurately assessing and making sure they are taking the right level of risk for them?


In this session, we will look at the component parts that form a client's risk profile: what are they, how we measure them, how we can make sure they're right for the client and ensuring they are properly recorded in the client's file. 


Who's speaking? 


This session is hosted by Caroline Stuart founder of both Sparrow Paraplanning and Sparrow Solutions.  Caroline is a CISI Accredited Paraplanner and Chartered Member of CISI, and with over twenty years’ experience working in financial planning and paraplanning. She also has many years’ experience of training and mentoring paraplanners and financial planners.



Mel Holman, As the Director and founder of Compliance and Training Solutions (CATS), Mel is a compliance expert. She has been working in compliance for over 20 years, and is both a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Financial Planner. Mel also regularly participates in and contributes to professional events and publications.

   Do you fancy yourself a writer? Would you like to get your article, blog or Op Ed published in one of our professional publications but don’t know where to begin?


Well, this Sparrow Solutions Sandbox Session could be the one for you! It's covering how to go about writing an article, what makes great copy and how to get yourself published!


 
 

Who's speaking?


In this Sparrow Solutions Session we're joined by Rob Kingsbury, Editor of Professional Paraplanner Magazine. Rob has spent over 23 years working as an Editor and with media and PR comms. He has masses of experience of both writing and editing the work of others and will be able to share valuable insights from his career.


We're also joined by Sarah Lees, Senior Paraplanner and Assistant Manager at Mazars. Sarah is a Chartered Financial Planner, Fellow of the PFS and was CISI's Paraplanner of the Year in 2021. Sarah has also hosted the Paraplanners' Assembly Big Day Out and has written many pieces for publications in her career.


It's going to be hosted by Caroline Stuart, herself a paraplanner of over 20 years, and owner of Sparrow Paraplanning and Sparrow Solutions.  Caroline has written numerous blogs and op-eds in a variety of publications as well as coached and mentored people with writing.
