About Sparrow Solutions

Sparrow Solutions is part of Sparrow Paraplanning, which was set up in September 2019 by Caroline Stuart.

Caroline has worked in the Financial Services profession for over 22 years, 18 of which have been in financial planning and paraplanning.

Caroline's long experience working in high quality financial planning firms in a range of paraplanner roles, and in senior positions such as Head of Technical and Pension Transfer Specialist means, like you, she always puts the client at the heart of everything she does.

Caroline has worked in and with large, medium and smaller organisations, all with different ways of looking after clients and running the businesses, giving her wide experience of a range of different working practices and processes.

She has played a fundamental role in these businesses. She's worked with them to put in place efficient processes and highly effective teams, to raise service levels and help clients understand the value of good financial planning and the difference it can bring to their lives.

This has helped improve procedures, increase productivity and business efficiency.

Caroline is an Accredited Paraplanner and Chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and is also qualified as a Pension Transfer Specialist.

Caroline has a range of tax, trust, pension, investment and financial planning qualifications from the Personal Finance Society, CISI and STEP, many of them passed with Distinction.

She was also on the Board of the Personal Finance Society as a Member Director, joining in September 2018.

In 2020, she was appointed as the Society's first paraplanner Vice President. This was followed by being elected the first Paraplanner President of the Personal Finance Society in September 2022.

When she's not paraplanning, mentoring or working with firms on their services, Caroline can usually be found doing something craftsy like knitting or baking.

She's also a bit of a (fairly unenthusiastic) jogger and has run a number of 5k and 10k races. Her proudest moment was completing the Leicester Half Marathon with a group of her friends who managed to raise £5,000 for Cancer Research.
